The Simple Idea That Changed Our Adventures
Pawqua started the way most good ideas do: out on a walk.
We are a couple that loves hiking, exploring new trails, and taking our dogs everywhere we possibly can. But we kept running into the same problem… For something as simple as keeping our dogs fed and hydrated, we were carrying way too much.
A water bottle. Separate bowls. A zip lock bag full of food. Extra containers stuffed into backpacks. It all added up quickly, especially on longer hikes or trips.
When one of us started traveling for work, it became even more obvious. Packing dog food in plastic bags and hauling multiple pieces just didn’t make sense. It felt messy, inconvenient, and unnecessary.
We wanted something compact and durable. Something that actually made life easier for active dog owners like us.
So we started Pawqua.
